Coaches of the Ladybugs Girls Soccer Team

Ricardo M. Serrano, is the head coach for the U-10, Ladybugs Girls Soccer Team. He is also the Assistant Coach for the "Solano Predators" U-12, Girls Metro Soccer Team. Originally from Perú - South America, where he played indoor and outdoor soccer in the Second and First Division (Amateur Soccer League). This is his third coaching season involving girls soccer teams.

Ricardo holds a United States Soccer Federation, Level "E" License Coach and the Level 8 USSF Referee License. He is also an active soccer player. Ricardo plays for the Strikers in the outdoor "Soccer Center of Excellence" COED League of the City of Vacaville. He participates in regional soccer tournaments such as Pleasanton, Fort Bragg, Colfax, Santa Cruz in California, and in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Besides his passion for soccer, he plays musical instruments (piano, guitar, cello, recorder and some Peruvian typical instruments) and writes Peruvian folk music. Ricardo is the creator/owner, Web Administrator and Webmaster of the Peruvian Musical Corner, a webpage of Peruvian folk melodies in MIDI format with more than 20 different styles.

Ricardo works as a Senior Environmental Health Specialist in the Solano County Department of Environmental Management, in Fairfield, California. He is married to Angie and has two soccer playing daughters: Amy (The Predators, U-12) and Bethany (Ladybugs, U-10), and a baby girl named Alexita.

Deborah A. Doolittle, is the Assistant Coach for the U-10, Ladybugs Girls Soccer Team and the U-6, Cheetahs Girls Soccer Team. Debby was the coach for the Enforcers (U-8) Girls Soccer Team. For the last 4 years, she has been part of a coaching group for girls soccer teams in the Fairfield-Suisun Youth Soccer League. Debby is also the Publicity Coordinator for the FSYSL.

Debby holds a United States Soccer Federation, Level "E" License Coach and the Level 8 USSF Referee License. She works as an Administrative Clerk in a trucking company in Concord, California. Debby is married to Scott and has three soccer playing daughters: Lindsey (Grizzlycubs, U-12); Sarah (Ladybugs, U-10) and Allison (Cheetahs, U-6).

This team has the support of dedicated parents, who willingly are providing the opportunity for these young players to learn and develop competitive soccer skills.
