This game was played at Dover Middle School on Saturday, November 06, 1999. It started at 10:15 am in a moderate sunny and windy morning

In the first quarter, the "Lady Bugs" team dominated completely. At the fourth  minute Taylour took the ball in the left side of the Kittens' field and crossed to the right by dribbling 2 players, with a right shot scored the first goal for the "Lady Bugs". In the eighth minute, Lisa received the ball from a throw in and with persistence fought the ball after encountering a Kittens' player. Lisa and Rebecca played forwards, Bethany and Wendy defended the "Lady Bugs" area, Corina and Vanessa played midfield. Near the end of this quarter, Lisa passed the ball to Bethany in the middle of the Kittens' end zone, Bethany kicked the ball rapidly surprising the Kittens' defenders and goalie, however, the ball passed near the left post.

The players alternated positions within the game. Vanessa and Sarah were the goalies for this game. Bethany, Wendy, and Jessica played defense. The midfield was composed by Sarah, Rebecca, Vanessa and Corina. Lisa, Rebecca, Sarah and Taylour played forwards in this game.

The "Lady Bugs" missed Gigi, who was sick and had to stay home. Our players dedicated this game to Gigi. Some players called Gigi after the game wishing her a prompt recovery.

In the afternoon, the "Lady Bugs" players and parents gathered at the home of Bethany Serrano, to celebrate her birthday (8th). Parents and players had a great time playing games and singing the "Lady Bugs" victory song: "We are the Champions" from the English group Queen. (Click in the song to listen)
